med_cat | Request for smartphone users

Hello everyone,

A LJ acquaintance asked me this:

I know this may be an odd request, but there is this app that I use called "Mercari" and every user receives a few dollars when they can get someone to sign up.
The app is free. Signing up is free. Everything is free.

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind signing up so I can receive the few dollars? If so, the invite code to use is: VPTWGS
(you must use the code for the person to receive credit)

The only reason I ask is because there's a Christmas gift on the app I would love to buy for my significant other, but considering our financial situation it would be tough to afford without a little help and Christmas is just around the corner.

You can delete the app after you sign up if it's not something you're interested in :)

Since I don't have a smartphone, I told the acquaintance that I could pass the info along, and was told to please go ahead.

So, if you _do_ have a smartphone, and feel like taking a few minutes to do someone a favor, I'd appreciate it ;)
(and if, like me, you don't have a smartphone, perhaps you can pass this request along to someone who does?)
