50 years ago today



...the 1st episode of the iconic TV series Star Trek aired on NBC on September 8th 1966 ("The Man Trap"). An iconic culture was born. Resistance is futile.

As you say, the ST:TOS _is_ rather dated but still quite fun to watch--the interactions between the crew members make it worthwhile...;)
