Еще один случай коронавируса обнаружили в ЮАР, украинское правительство отправили в отставку, новое правительство уже успело предупредить, что тоже собирается уйти, если что-то пойдет не так, в Америке выборы, в Турции беженцы, в России все чики-пики, ни вируса, ни коррупции, ни здравого смысла.

It's very easy to lose focus.

It seems that, just yesterday, we worked out a plan. A plan to expand one's business, or to apply for a scholarship at Stanford, or to complete a cooking class, or to improve one's results in the gym.
We were full of determination to change everything, once and for all.

But the very next morning, things started going wrong. Out of every crevice, regular news, great big news, and tiny little newsy bits started stretching their paws. Another case of coronavirus was reported in South Africa, the Ukrainian government was forced to resign, the newly-appointed Ukrainian government already found the time to warn everyone that if things start going wrong, they too will resign, USA has an election, Turkey has refugees, and in Russia, everything is hunky-dory, no virus, no corruption, and no common sense either.
