Here are vivid images--there are seven of them--they help to see life clearly. Here and now. If you incorporate those images into your life, you will forget about the existence of neuroses and lack of fulfillment. Of course, just as in anything, practice is needed. Why not start right now?

Окружающие меня люди - мои зеркала. Они отражают особенности моей собственной личности, часто не осознаваемые мною. Например, если кто-то мне хамит, значит, я так хочу, я это позволяю. Если кто-то снова и снова обманывает меня, значит, я склонен к тому, чтобы поверить любому. Так что обижаться не на кого.

Mirror
People around me are my mirrors. They reflect the peculiarities of my own personality, even those I am often unaware of. For instance, if someone is rude to me, that means that I want them to, that I allow them. If someone cheats me over and over again, that means that I am inclined to believe anybody. So there is no need to take offense at others' actions or behaviour.

Я осознаю, что все происходящее в моей жизни - есть результат моего собственного выбора. И если сегодня я общаюсь со скучным человеком, значит, я сам скучный и занудливый. Нет плохих и злых людей – есть несчастные. Если я разгребаю их проблемы, значит, мне это нравится. Так что не к кому предъявить претензии. Я сам причина всего, что происходит со мной. Автор и творец своей судьбы - я сам.

Choice
I realize that everything which is happening in my life is the result of my own free choice. And if today I am talking to a boring person, that means that I myself am boring and annoying. There are no bad and evil people--there are unhappy people. If I am dealing with their problems, that means I enjoy it. So there is no need to complain. I myself am the cause of everything that happens to me. I am the author and creator of my fate.

Погрешность
Я согласен с тем, что могу ошибаться. Не всегда мое мнение или мои поступки другие люди должны считать правильными. Реальный мир не только черное и белое, есть еще светло-серое и темно-белое. Я не ИДЕАЛ, я просто хороший человек и имею право на ошибку. Главное – суметь признать её и вовремя исправить.

Fallibility
I agree that I am fallible and prone to making mistakes. Other people are not necessarily obligated to consider my opinion or my actions to be correct. The real world is not only black and white; there is also light gray and dark white. I am not an IDEAL, I am simply a good person and I have the right to make mistakes. The most important thing is to be able to acknowledge the mistake and to correct it in a timely manner.

Соответствие
Я имею ровно то, и ровно столько, чему я соответствую, чего заслуживаю, не больше, не меньше, касается ли это отношений с людьми, работы или денег. Если я не могу любить человека на полную катушку, смешно требовать, чтобы этот человек ТАК любил меня. Так что все мои претензии бессмысленны. И вместе с тем, когда я сам решаю измениться в лучшую сторону - меняются и окружающие меня люди.

Payback
I have exactly that and exactly as much as I am equal to, as I deserve--no more and no less, whether this is regarding relationships with people, work, or money. If I cannot love someone fully, it is ludicrous to demand for that person to love me LIKE THAT. So my complaints are meaningless. And if I decide to change for the better, the people surrounding me will change as well.

Мне никто ничего не должен. Я же способен и могу бескорыстно помочь всем, кому могу. И мне это в радость. Чтобы стать добрым, надо стать сильным. Чтобы стать сильным, надо поверить в то, что я всё могу. А я верю! Но надо и уметь говорить «НЕТ!»

Dependence
Nobody owes me anything. I, on the other hand, am capable of helping everybody I can--without expecting anything in return. And I enjoy doing that. To be kind, one must become strong. To become strong, I must believe that I am capable of anything! And I believe that. But one must also be capable of saying "NO!"

Присутствие
Я живу здесь и сейчас. Прошлого нет, потому что каждую следующую секунду наступает настоящее. Будущего нет, потому что его еще нет. Привязанность к прошлому приводит к депрессии, озабоченность будущим порождает тревогу. Пока я живу настоящим, я НАСТОЯЩИЙ. Есть повод порадоваться.

Presence
I live here and now. There is no past, because every coming second becomes the present. There is no future, because it hasn't happened yet. Being attached to the past engenders depression; being concerned about the future engenders anxiety. While I live in the present, I myself am real and PRESENT. That is cause enough to rejoice.

Оптимизм
Пока мы ругаем жизнь, она проходит мимо. Смотрите на жизнь как на невероятное поле Возможностей. Глаза видят, ноги ходят, уши слышат, сердце работает, Душа радуется.

Optimism
While we rail at life, it passes us by. Regard life like an incredible field of Possibilities. Your eyes can see, your feet can walk, your ears can hear, your heart works, your soul rejoices.
