As we remember the events of September 11, 2001, it's hard not to think of what we were doing that day, how we were feeling, and how our lives have changed.

Read the stories of several nurses as they reflect on their feelings and reactions from that day. http://www.nursingcenter.com/library/JournalArticle.asp?Article_ID=435127

What are your memories from that day?

I remember it all happening on tv as I was on holiday at the time. At first I thought it was a film and was going to switch over but then I realised it was really happening for real. I sat for a few hours and really feared WW3 would break out especially when it was reported that Bush has been sent to a secure location. I had to meet a friend later on in the day but when we met up later we both confessed we had both been wondering if it was safe enough to go out and then agreed that if the nukes started flying there was nothing we could do and might as well carry on with our night out.

So I wont forget 9/11. So many people died that day and continue to die with continuing wars of hatred and acts of terrorism throughout the world.

The best memorial that could be given would be for world peace. However I don't see that happen. If anything I am sorry to say that a nuke will be used sooner rather than later. Its just a gut feeling I have.

RIP to all those who died on 9/11
