Work hours, environment may affect body weight
Long working hours and a hostile work environment were significantly correlated with increased odds of obesity, a study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine indicated. Researchers also found individuals working in public administration, utilities, transportation and warehousing, information, and health care and social assistance had the highest obesity rates.
