My daughter would like that one; she takes an interest in poisons - one of the novels on her To-Write list deals with the Elves of a forest of toxic fungi.

Now I've gotta got look and see what weed did kill Lincoln's mother...

Do take a look although I think that's later in the book; it does give you a few pages' worth to preview--I looked at that and it looks intriguing. I might get that book sometime; take a look at the author's other works, too.
