He will never lose weight if he keeps snacking between sets.

Aww, very cute! Our favorite zoo had a wonderful walrus - named E.T., because that's what he looked like when he was rescued as a starving orphaned cub - but sadly he died in July (http://www.pdza.org/et) at the age of 33. He was a lot bigger than this one, whom I'm guessing is probably a female.

Pleased you enjoyed it :)

Thanks for the link--I read the article and watched the vocalizations video; that is indeed impressive, I didn't know walruses could do that :) And yes, he was certainly a huge one!

E.T. was lovely; he was totally the star of Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium - he'd come out of the water and do all his tricks for us; he always seemed as tame and gentle as a big friendly dog. A HUGE friendly dog; almost two tons! They always had to have two keepers at a time with him in the pen, not because he was aggressive, but just because he was so huge and strong, and so clumsy out of the water, that he might injure someone accidentally. In the water, he was poetry-in-motion, and he'd actually interact with people, especially children, through the glass. No one who met him will ever forget him.
