I feel that this might help a friend of mine explain why incremental change, rather than immediate large changes, can often create despair rather than hope...

One feels one is moving too slowly and making no progress with incremental changes, I suppose?

This quote also reminds me of another book, not by Steve Maraboli--I'll buy it sometime and share if it's as good as it seems from an excerpt I'd read.
