Shift work course, from CDC

Some of the theory I hadn't known before, and some of the tips are pretty good (and I took this course while working a night shift, some weeks ago...:P)

So, I thought perhaps some people here might find it of interest ([livejournal.com profile] browngirl, for example :))

I used to work as carer in UK, so I woked night shifts many years and I understand that this kind of job is extremely damagind for our health. Interestingly, in USSR for night work we were paid 40% more by the law, everywhere. Here, in UK, noone never get extra pay for that

There's usually a shift differential in the U.S., at least in healthcare, one is paid more for evenings/nights/weekends
