LOL, nothing encourages linguistic development like watching childrens' videos in a language one barely understands, with subtitles in an alphabet one can barely decode. I can read French a little, but I've never learned to pronounce it; I can sing some Russian songs and recognize some names in Cyrillic, but I've never learned all the letters, so... interesting challenge! My daughter will like this video too; both her French and her Russian are way better than mine.
What's French like in Cyrillic? Or is it just simply never written in Cyrillic? How nice it must be to grow up with a language in which everything is pronounced exactly as it's written, with no ambiguity.

Aw, that was very sweet! I'm glad it's aimed at children - my listening comprehension of French is no longer up to scratch, but I can parse it sufficiently well given enough time between messages. I've seen that this is based on a children's book - I may be tempted to pick it up for my kids...

French in Cyrillic...well, I suppose like any language written in Cyrillic?
An example:
Parlez-vous français?
Парле-ву франсе?
Also, Russian spelling is phonetic, but not quite so much as Latin, for example, and then Russian grammar is very complicated, as you probably know.
