I watched all 3 of those videos. I was roughly familiar with most of that history but seeing it compressed like that makes you realise how depressingly continuous European warfare is and how short-lived are most of its smaller states and land borders.

Just as you say...I found the article and the videos informative, myself--just as you mention, I was familiar with some of the information but not all...and, yes re: warfare and borders.
