(you know the story abt that holiday and the rabbi who didn't drink?)
There was an eminent rabbi (I forget his name) who didn't drink, at all. The actual injunction on Purim is that 1. you should drink more than you usually do; and 2. you should drink until you cannot distinguish the name Haman from the name Mordechai.
So, this rabbi would drink a teaspoon of wine--it was more than he usually drank--and then he'd go to bed, because a person cannot distinguish the names when he is asleep
